In 2020, I started Adá as a supper club in NYC. My goal was to give Black chefs the respect, admiration, and platform that they deserve. I hosted a series of pop-up dinners and at-home dining experiences through which Black chefs told amazing culinary stories.
Black perspectives are often ignored or discounted across the board, and the food industry is no exception. Adá is here to spotlight the stories these talented individuals are telling through their food.
We focus on the people, foods and traditions that are often excluded from the culinary conversation – specifically, those from Africa and her diaspora.
As a Black-owned business and team-building company, everything we do centers community. We believe that food is fuel. It is comfort. And it is joy. Come celebrate with us!
